The Oxford Fire Department provides fireprotection and life safety response to the City of Oxford, Alabama, locatedalong the I-20 corridor in Calhoun County. It is the departments perspectivethat properly inspected, tested, and maintained systems areessential to both public safety and firefighter effectiveness. When alarmsactivate promptly and suppression systems perform without failure, it directlyimpacts our ability to protect lives, control incidents, and minimize loss.


The Oxford Fire Department utilizes the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) service to ensure continuous compliance with applicable fire and life safety codes throughout the City of Oxford. Maintaining this compliance is essential to our mission of providing the highest level of safety, protection, and service to our community.
The ITM platform functions as a compliance program that enables approved service providers to submit inspection, testing, and maintenance reports for all required fire and life safety systems, including—but not limited to—automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, bi-directional amplifier (BDA) systems, and portable fire extinguishers.
