The Kannapolis Fire Department utilizes the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) service to ensure continuous compliance with applicable fire and life safety codes throughout the City of Kannapolis. Maintaining this compliance is essential to our mission of providing the highest level of safety, protection, and service to our community. The ITM platform functions as a compliance engine that enables approved service providers to submit inspection, testing, and maintenance reports for all required fire and life safety systems, including—but not limited to—automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, bi-directional amplifier (BDA) systems, and portable fire extinguishers.
